Strandfeest in hartje Tiel

Al 9 jaar (!) de start van de zomer in Tiel. Neem het mooiste plein van Tiel, vul dat met top acts, heerlijke drankjes, zand, een dikke licht show en natuurlijk een dansende massa en je hebt Korenbeursstrand!

We beginnen het weekend op de vrijdag met de Live avond van Korenbeursstrand! De Surinaamse podiumsensatie Trafassi komt met volledige band naar ons tropisch feest voor een avondvullende show. Ze worden die avond vergezeld door onze vrienden Juliënne en Merco.

Zaterdag gaat het echt los. De nieuwe baas van de bubbling (De Schuurman!) gaat ons plein laten trillen, naast de mannen van Basshall Soundsystem. Lokale held en internationale ster Papi Mikey Dinero gaat er voor zorgen dat jullie zijn naam nooit meer vergeten. Daarnaast zijn we supertrots dat we de primeur hebben van de eerste vinyl set van Solskin!

Gelukkig is onze sloopkogel Grande Vida terug en verwelkomen we dit jaar Be Charm’d en Tielenaar Mvnoah.

“Onze” Bram en Fusion maken de affiche compleet met wat misschien wel het optreden wordt waar we het meest naar uit kijken!

Kortom, hier wil je gewoon bij zijn!

We gaan iets nieuws doen

Al 10 jaar is de Beurs in Tiel en omstreken een begrip. De allerlekkerste drankjes, fijne mensen, heerlijk eten… maar ook de beste feestjes! Ontelbare mooie dagen en nachten vonden al plaats aan en op het Korenbeursplein. Nu is het moment daar om onze horizon te verbreden en verder te kijken dan het Korenbeursplein. Op één van de mooiste plekjes in het centrum van Tiel, het park rondom de Sint Maartenskerk, vindt op 7, 8 en 9 juli de allereerste editie plaats van ons eigen festival: DE BEURS BUITEN!

De vrijdag beginnen we ’s avonds met een spectaculaire outdoor editie van de top2000 pubquiz, natuurlijk onder de leiding van de enige echte Bas Voigt. Zaterdag is om te feesten! Een volledig festival met de tofste acts en dj’s, foodtrucks, een speciaal bierbar, silent disco en veel meer! De zondag staat in het teken van de live muziek en is gratis toegankelijk. Enkele van de beste lokale en regionale bands betreden onze 2 podia.

Vier met ons de vrijheid!

Vrijdagavond 5 mei vieren we Bevrijdingsdag op het Korenbeursplein! Het plein start om 20.00-21.30 uur met live muziek van Down by the Jetty!

Down by the Jetty is een door de Britse pubrock beïnvloedde, energieke rhythm & blues band. Ze nemen je mee naar het begin jaren ‘70 waar het in The Hope en Anchor in London allemaal begon. Klassiekers van de hand van Wilko Johnson, Lee Brilleaux zoals o.a. She does it right, All through the city, Roxette en Going back home staan 5 mei op de setlist! Verwacht ook covers van Muddy Waters, Soft Cell en Mickey Jupp op z’n Down by the Jetty’s…

Om 22.00-23:30 uur nemen The Beuk Brothers het podium over. Drie ervaren muzikanten die er graag ruig op los rocken! Rock Covers uit de jaren ‘70, ‘80 en ‘90.

De drie broers houden het daarbij lekker strak. Niet alleen uptempo nummers, een enkele ballad en ook wat rustigere nummers komen voorbij. Het speelplezier spat er vanaf en het repertoire van de broers is dansbaar! De voetjes gaan van de vloer bij de ‘Ah Bah’ medley die onvoorstelbaar met drums, gitaar en basgitaar wordt uitgevoerd.

Willem’s verjaardag

Vier de verjaardag van de Koning op het oranje gekleurde Korenbeursplein in Tiel! De horecaondernemers op het Korenbeursplein slaan de handen weer ineen om het evenementen seizoen te openen met een buitenpodium. Uiteraard onder begeleiding van swingende muziek! Donderdag 27 april is het Koningsdag, een gezellig gratis evenement voor jong en oud! Vanaf 12.00 uur is er live muziek van Ber van Buren, Blind Lemon, Desert Rose, The Volatist en dj’s. Wij zorgen niet alleen dat er genoeg te drinken valt, maar ook te eten. Het restaurant is gesloten, maar we zijn wel buiten op het plein te vinden met allerlei lekkers. Kom vroeg dansen en mis niks!
